If the internet is a series of tubes, the metaverse is a series of places within spaces! It is, after all, the Spatial future of web3. Places are one of the best ways to allow users a quick high-level list of what the most important areas of your space are and allow them to teleport straight there at the click of a button. As the space creator or administrator, you can set the location of a place-based off on either XYZ coordinates, or simply use the current spot your avatar is standing in. You can even set the initial point of view that users will have when they teleport to that place. Places are a great way to subdivide your space from a performance/optimization standpoint. If you create a place within your space that’s 1000meters from other places, that place will be sure to render by itself, and not any other nearby places, reducing resource impact and improving performance. You can also assign an image to each of your places. We recommend an attractive screenshot of the location itself. Note that these won’t update automatically (yet!). You can also set a short description, change the order the places are listed, and so forth.

Type "places"> select Install. Can be accessed under "Places" button on bottom toolbar. In right panel, scroll down to Settings to customize. To add a new space, click "Add Area", input name and details. Additional Options include; opening on arrival, custom landing location for avatars, popup titles and text body, custom Confirm and Cancel button. Custom Loading Screen, background color, image, and text for when teleporting to new spaces.
