It’s not a social platform without social chat! Vatom Spaces’ official Chat Plugin (v1) allows for the creation of permanently-anchored public chats, as well as direct messages, and soon group messages. Searching chats will allow visitors to find recent DM’s, and “new chat” will allow them to initiate a new chat with someone else in the space. ⚠ Note that cross-space chat is part of this system, allowing users to continue chatting with users across Vatom Spaces, regardless of which other spaces they enter into. It’s positively quantum!

Type "chat" > select Install. Chat can then be found on bottom toolbar, select "Chat" button to open up Chat. Select a user to direct change or "General" to chat to all users.
